How It Fits Onto Your Shelf:
This whale shelf sculpture is designed for a secure, concealed installation that creates a clean, floating effect.
1. A small hole is drilled into the shelf at your chosen position.
2. The whale’s body/head section contains a threaded metal rod, which passes neatly through the hole in the shelf.
3. From above the shelf, the sculpture is secured with a nut, holding the whale firmly in place.
4. The tail section is hollowed and fits over the bolt and nut, completely concealing the fixings.
5. Once assembled, the whale appears to pass seamlessly through the shelf with no visible hardware.

This method ensures the sculpture is stable, well-balanced, and suitable for long-term display.
