How do I care for my textured artwork?
All my textured works are totally sealed and you only need to dust the work with a feather duster from time to time.
Clay sculptures should be dusted with a feather duster on a regular basis. They can also be wiped with a damp cloth. If they get particularly dirty, and for those that do not have a wooden back, they can be gently washed in luke warm water but not scrubbed. Then leave to dry thoroughly. No products should be used.
Where applicable, care instructions will be included with your order.
Can I choose the subject and colors?
Absolutely. If you have a favorite flower or texture that you love, please let me know and I can design something for you. Please just remember that I am a biophilic artist and that any subject must fall within ‘my signature’. For example, I will not do pet or human portraits. I also offer color matching. Because computer monitor callibrations all vary, I will need a physical swatch to be able to match the color precisely.
Can I choose a different size?
Most of the works listed can be made to suit the size of your wall space, please just ask. I can also do a scale drawing to show placement. These cost €70 ($80) and will be deducted from the project/artwork price if you place an order. Please contact me with the measurements of your wall.
How long does it take to make my order?
This of course depends on what you order, how many pieces and the size of the actual artwork. Typically, for small sculptures, my lead time is 2-3 weeks to process. For larger installation art and artworks, I typically need 2 months. These lead times factor in should anything go wrong and we can mostly ship faster than this. If time is of the essence for your project, please reach out so that we can ensure you get it on time.
Do you offer wholesale?
No. All my artworks are limited editions. Small sculptures are limited to only 50 and paintings are limited to 8. For that reason I cannot offer wholesale.
Do you offer discounts for multiple orders?
Yes. If you want to purchase 3 or more items, I can offer small discounts and/or for larger projects for interior designers or art consultancies. Please contact me to discuss.. You are purchasing direct from the artist so the prices have not be loaded with any gallery or art consultancy fees. Please also consider that these are investment pieces and limited editions and as such prices increase with time.
Will I have to pay importation tax?
For some countries there is either no importation tax or a reduced importation tax for original artwork. Please check with your local Customs & Excise office before placing your order to be informed of your country’s importation fees, if any, for original art. All import fees are legally the customer’s responsibility. For orders to the US, original works of art with or without their frames are duty-free under Chapter 97 in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). All Customs documentation will contain the correct tariff codes for original paintings and/or sculptures and will include a Declaration of Original Artwork (19CFR 10.48).
‘Original Artwork‘ are paintings created by the Artist and any mosaics covered by the annexed invoice and included in that invoice are originals; that any sculptures or statuary included in that invoice are the original works or models of 1 of the first 10 castings, replicas, or reproductions made from the sculptor’s original work or model; and that any etchings, engravings, woodcuts, lithographs, or prints made by other hand-transfer processes included in that invoice were printed by hand from hand-etched, hand-drawn, or hand-engraved plates, stones, or blocks.
All of the artworks on this website are originals and will fall under the bracket of ‘Original Artwork’ except for prints. Prints are manufactured by a third party and will be drop-shipped either from the US or from Europe, depending on where in the world you are. This should mostly avoid any importation duties being due.
Do you offer gift wrap?
Yes! For orders over €100 we offer a gift wrapping service for free. For orders under this amount, there is a €5 charge. Please contact us if you need this and we can adjust the price for you. Gift wrap is brown Kraft paper with a beautiful ribbon and either a wood or clay gift tag with a hand-written card with your personal message.
Can I pay a deposit?
You can pay a 50% deposit for larger artworks and/or projects and this will schedule it in. No precise lead time can be given without a deposit payment. Progress photos can be sent to you so you can see its evolution. Once completed, full payment will be required before shipping. No artworks are shipped without full payment.
For smaller works, you can delay payments but again, nothing will be shipped until full payment has been received. Prior agreement has to be made with so please make contact if you need to stagger your payments.
How do you package your artworks?
Very carefully! All packaging we use is recycled and we hope you will keep the boxes and do the same. Mostly we also double-box to ensure safe arrival. We use packing paper or recycled shapes, whatever is to hand.
For the large fragile artworks, we make wooden crates. These are made in-house to ensure they are exactly the right size and then as little handling as possible is needed to secure it in there. Artworks on wood panels are screwed into the crates from the back which means they cannot move. You will need to undo these screws while someone is holding the artwork in order to lift it out of its crate. Instructions will be included with your purchase.
