Description

The artichoke is constructed from paper shapes which stand proud of the canvas creating the 3 dimensional effect. I hope this comes across in the images. It is a really tactile piece which surprises the viewer as they approach and realise that it jumps from the canvas.

The painting is worked on cotton canvas with painted sides so that it is not strictly be necessary to have it framed.
