Asparagus Sculpted Paper Painting

Description

This is one of my newest paintings and is a complex work. It was first partly drawn out and then the ‘leaves’ were added in paper to create a 3 dimensional effect. The complexity of all the leaves made this work quite difficult but I’m really happy with the way it ‘pops’ from the canvas.

It measures 30x24cms and has a string on the back ready for hanging. It is worked on gallery wrapped canvas and the sides have been painted so a frame is not necessary.
