Our planet is naturally abundant and this surreal still life painting plays with this concept. Abundance does not mean that everything is perfect as perfection lacks beauty. I play with this in this surreal still life.
Surrealism has always fascinated me so I finally made the plunge and produced a small series of surreal paintings with botanical elements. This surreal melon still life is monochromatic and plays with light as well as form.
