Description

Representing sea textures in soft cream clay, this round clay nautical wall art sculpture is the perfect decor for a beach house or just because you love the ocean. The wall hanging will bring texture into your home in a simple and understated way.

The coral inspired wall hanging was meticulously sculpted in clay and can be hung from the integrated brass hanger on a small nail since it is not very heavy. Each wall plaque is a limited edition and signed and numbered on the back.

° Please note: if you want to hang these on a yacht, please let me know as I can add 2 integrated brass hooks on the back.

SIZE:
25 cm Dia. (10″)
° Other sizes possible, please just ask.

COLORS:
Shown here in off-white but also available in white or black.

ABOUT BIOMORPHIC ART:
Biomorphic comes from combining the Greek words ‘bios’, meaning life, and ‘morphe’, meaning form. Biomorphist art focuses on the natural life and uses organic shapes and hints at the forms of biology. They evoke living forms in an abstract way. Biomorphism has connections with the Surrealism and Art Nouveau movements.

“In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.” – Alice Walker (American writer and poet)
