Barnacles are fascinating things and I love making these clay wall sculptures to add textures of the sea to my home. The white and grey clay wall art is the perfect accent for a beach house or perhaps a bathroom with an ocean inspired theme.

The barnacles are designed to either hang alone or fit together as a group in a larger installation. This means that there is flexibility in how you arrange them. They look wonderful around a door or mirror or going up the stairs. The possibilities are endless.

The clay used is not the same as ceramic and is a lot lighter and less hard. It is very strong but there is a flexibility to it that often takes people by surprise. This flexibility is actually what also makes it so strong and less likely to break when dropped.

Each arrangement is made very organically and no two will ever be the same. If you wish to purchase more than 1, then I will make pieces that will easily fit together and flow. You could even send me a photo of the space and I can design it with that space in mind.

Each sculpture has a hook on the back to help with hanging but these are so light, you could even use a little mounting putty. Equally they could also be glued in place using a plumbing glue that fixed PVC pipes.
