Morpho Blue Paper Butterflies Wall Art

Description

I love how these blue butterflies group together on tree trunks. It’s just a sea of blue, turquoise and lilac. I have wanted to do a painting of these for ages. The 3D butterfly painting will add a wonderful pop of color and bring the outdoors right into your home. No butterflies were harmed!

To do these little beauties justice, I hand cut each butterfly from card. They were then painted in oils. Each one is different and unique. They are all different sizes, different tones and have different markings. Just as unique as the real thing. There are 26 butterflies altogether.

The background is a subtle textured background which offsets the butterflies and makes them stand out.

MATERIALS: paper/oils on wood, framed in a professional white floating frame and ready for hanging.
This format works great above a bed.
