Modern Lilac Flower Collage Calligraphy Typography Abstract Art in Purple Green White

The lilac flower is truly beautiful and when you stare at it long enough, you see shapes, symmetry, branching, chaos and flows and this modern collage abstract is my interpretation.

This lilac flower abstract painting forms part of my next series where I look at botanical subjects but deconstruct them. I looked at a lilac flower and found lots of shapes and forms and basically jumbled them up to create this modern abstract collage.

In this modern collage I have added 3D paper flowers as well handmade paper texture and some Latin word calligraphy. This is a very tactile work as with many of my textured paintings. The work is framed in a clean white solid wood professional floating frame.
