Having a mother who is a seamstress, one who has been properly trained the old-fashioned way, I had somewhat of an aversion to handmade clothing whilst growing up. None of my clothes were shop bought and although my mother was incredibly talented (she made a dress for the wife of the King of Spain!), I longed for a pair of jeans that didn't fit well and had a label!

So I had in my mind this idea that homemade clothing was pants! Through selling online, I often come across people who hand make clothing and I've been totally amazed at how beautiful it is. I have seriously considered purchasing some of these items. Here's just a few that I love.

Stunning for going to a party. I love all the detailing on this.

Understated class and this would look fab simply with a pair of jeans.

This scarf is just exquisite in the details. Would be amazing to dress a simple black dress or coat.
